Jonas' Art
We've known forever that Jonas has an eye for photography, and he absolutely loves taking pictures. Sometimes I just give him the camera and tell him to take pictures so that he'll leave me alone. Here are some of his recent ones. It's convenient that he has such a willing model.

First Post!
So this is the first post of our blog! YAY! It seems to be the hip thing for home/unshoolers to blog about their home/unschooling. Wanting not to be one-uped by all you fantastic overachieving super mamas, I'll have to start blogging.
I have nothing exceptional to blog today, so Ill just post some pictures of the kids doing want unschoolers do best - playing! (that is, of course, learning through play.)

Jonas dressed up as Puss-In-Boots, probably after watching shrek 2. It's amazing that a disney movie sparked such imaginetive play for him. Prior to this he'd rarely dressed up on his own, and only role played with lego guys.

Lavinia in a powdered wig. Not holding court or anything, just hanging out in it.

Building lego ships. This is pretty much what he does all day, or at least, it's all he wants to do.

Lavinia being cute and loving having her picture taken.

Jonas actually holding still long enough to take a picture.
